What is the Municipal Council?

The Municipal Council is the official decision-making body of the municipality. It is composed of the mayor, his deputies and elected municipal councillors.

It meets regularly to vote on the budget, plan projects, manage public facilities (schools, roads, markets, etc.) and adopt regulations concerning local life.

It is the heart of local democracy, representing the population in the management of municipal affairs.
